Curi Cancha Reserve is one of the best destinations for birdwatching in Monteverde, thanks to the great diversity of habitats protected within the cloud forest. More than 200 bird species have been recorded in the reserve, including iconic species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, Keel-billed Toucan, Three-wattled Bellbird, and numerous hummingbirds.
